So yeah, it's been a while since I posted. We had a great Christmas; we spent the day with Derek's family. I've got pictures of some of the gifts I made, I'll post them later this week.
We kicked off ringing in the new year at a party with some friends. Most of the attendees were parents, so we welcomed the new year Buenos Aires time (which was like 7pm Mountain Standard). We came home and put The Tobes to bed and then Derek and I stayed up for a bit. We talked about all the things that happened in 2012...
Moved into our first house (a rental, but hey it was a step up from a small apartment).
Celebrated our first anniversary...
Toby was born!
We also put an offer on our first home and... we will officially be home owners by the end of the month! (pics to follow soon)
There were lots of other cool little things along the way, but as we all know I'm really bad at documenting with a camera. That should probably be one of my resolutions- to take more pictures. We'll see how that goes.
And just because the pictures is too awesome to not share, here's us on last New Year's Eve...
We went to a 70's and 80's themed party. Derek was going for the Tom Cruise in "Rain Man" look. I was trying to channel Blossom; more like knocked up Blossom.
Anyways, hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve. May this year be blessed with peace, love, family, and lots of great experiences.
