Hope you all had a great weekend. We kept busy but still managed to fit in some family time.
Yup, the Home Show.
Smiling spouse.
Smiling son.
Close up on new shoes for The Tobes.
This is what I wore. Hindsight is 20/20, I should have thrown on a belt and maybe ditched the cuffs cerca 2000. Oh well, it was comfy.
We had a great time checking out all the wares and stuff that is out there for all things related to home and patios. Now that we're homeowners all we can think about is home improvements and decor. My main motivation for wanting to go to the Home Show was to enter as many sweepstakes and giveaways as we possibly could. I think we entered about seven or eight, maybe even as many as ten. So now all that's left to do is sit by the phone and patiently await the call saying we won a bathroom remodel. A girl can dream, right?
We came home and just chilled for the rest of the day.
I made cookies.
Derek watched the Final Four game. Props to Louisville.
And this little cutie just stayed cute.
I also sat down and gave the blog a little facelift; thoughts? Comments? I have been making my way through A Beautiful Mess's Blog Lovin' e-course and it's helped me a lot. If you're a new blogger like me and looking for something to help you learn how to have a successful blog, I highly recommend this course. There are still some other changes I'd like to make to the blog, but so far what I've done feels like a good place to start.
Sunday we went to church, had lunch at In-n-Out, and chilled at home. I tried to get a little work done in the backyard but Toby has missed his afternoon nap so he was a major clinger. After he went to bed I had every intention of getting some housework done, but stupid Pinterest distracted me. Then Derek sat down to watch the season six premier of "Mad Men" and it was all over. I fell asleep about fifteen minutes in, so I couldn't tell you what happened. Now it's Monday and it's time to get the laundry under control. Here we go...
