Long Time No Post

It's been way too long since I've posted! I'm so excited to be back, things have been crazy busy but the madness is finally starting to come to an end.

We have been having a lot of fun getting the house organized and looking nice. We've been to Ikea a couple of times, but there's still more things that we need so I think another trip is in our future. Pinterest has been getting some major traffic from me. I finally have a reason to try out all those diy projects!

I also discovered that I love yard work. We got a friendly reminder about our weeds being a violation of the HOA rules (welcome to the neighborhood!), so I've been getting out there almost everyday to deweed the front yard. Over the weekend I tamed the wild bushes out there; my arms are scratched up something fierce but I just call them my battle wounds.

I worked a part time job for the month of March, but Toby was having a hard time with me being away three days a week and quite honestly I wasn't thrilled about the separation either. Ultimately Derek and I decided it was best if I stayed home with the bitty boy. This is my first week back home full time, it feels great.

Speaking of bitty boy, aka Toby- his birthday is in a month. Oh my goodness I can't believe how fast time has flown by. It's amazing, surreal, and slightly saddening all at the same time. He's growing so fast (almost walking!) that I feel like if I look away for too long I'll miss something. We're excited for his birthday party. I won't spoil any of it but I do pledge to make sure I get pics. I mean it this time.

Toby is tugging on my pants and screaming. So rude. Kidding. I must go tend to his needs. Have a great day everyone!
