Cast Your Vote!

This is our front door

It blends in with the rest of the house, and just looks kinda sad. So I think a little color fix is in order...



So many colors, so little time. I'm totally having a Stuart moment- I don't know which one to pick. Let's meet the contestants.

"Oriental Eggplant". I really like this color. It's bold and makes a statement, but it's not over the top. I think.

"Jackfruit". I don't know why but when I started thinking about colors for the door I always had a yellow in my mind. This one is like a pale marigold. I'm not too crazy about it, but it definitely sends the message that we want people to be happy when they come to our house. Random fact: actual jackfruit apparently smells horrible.

"Frosted Jade". Also not the frontrunner in my opinion, but it does offer a softer version of turquoise, and we all know how us Southwestern Arizonans love us some turquoise.

"Sand Pearl". This is my other favorite. There's something about white front doors that screams "classy".

I need your help, friends! The color options- thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Check back soon to see which one gets picked.

    My first thought is Oriental Eggplant for sure, and then I remember HOAs...something to consider before getting a nasty letter in the mail.
    Second choice is Jackfruit =)

    I say red, but if you pick one of the others...Jackfruit! : ) ( my front door is red, and I love it...and no one stops by thinking I'm a fancy salon and spa in case you were going to say that...ha ha ha). Go wild, but Jessika is right, check with the HOA.

    thanks everyone! our HOA is kind of a pain in the butt, so i'm slightly tempted to paint the door something crazy like neon pink just for spite.

    i'm picking up the paint this weekend, so check back soon the final verdict!
