It's that time of the week again- linkin' it real good with Hallie and everybody else.

1. So, I decided to try something...

I started a photography business! Oh my goodness you guys I'm so excited about this. Part of my whole getting organized/life changes thing is taking chances creatively. Not gonna lie, there's been a lot of moments where I have minor anxiety attacks due to zero self-confidence but I'm trying to just push past those nasty thoughts and go for it. I've still got a lot to learn, which is cool because I always want to learn new things, but I'm enjoying honing this new skill.

So far this journey has been awesome! I did a newborn shoot last week and I have another baby session coming up, and the amount of interested peoples seems to keep growing. My socks have been blessed off, seriously. I started a Facebook page, so if you feel like it, hop on over and check out some of the photos and maybe "like" the page.

2. Toby has a cold. The cold itself isn't a favorite, but the part where the cold makes him extra snuggly totally is a favorite. The little man is always on the move so any chance I get to hold him more I will gladly take it.

Watson the cat chasing an olive Toby tossed on the floor. It was very entertaining.

4. Groupon. Why on earth did it take me so long to get on board with this?! My mom called me last week and said she had a groupon for a super cheap haircut and style from my favorite salon. I haven't gone there since before Derek and I got married because it's super nice and super expensive- at least in my world it is. So of course I leapt for joy at this and immediately joined groupon. I made an appointment for said haircut and I'm thinking of going for a long bob a la Zoe Saldana...

or this famous chick (I'm so out of touch, I can't remember her name but I know she's a celeb. Sorry famous girl)

or Jessica Alba

Not sure yet. Last time I got a haircut I set out with the intent to come home with a big change and then chickened out and just asked for a decent trim. I'm not wasting my groupon on a sissy trim this time.

5. These

I should probably look into if Trader Joe's would pay me for advertising their goodies cause that's all I ever do here. Ridiculous. Anywhoo, yeah these are really good and I shouldn't have bought them because they're making me fat because I have no self-control when it comes to snacky treat things.
